Today, deM atlaS self-released his new EP, redeMption. The nine track EP was recorded during his two year hiatus from touring and highlights the tumultuous times he dealt with, while the world was locked down during the global pandemic.

deM atlaS says of the EP “i set out to make ‘redeMption’ as an immediate response to my trauma. my life was upended last year and everything came crashing. i had no idea who i was and in a way, i had to start all over again. a lot of pain, a lot of grief, a lot of anger and a lot of reflection. feels good to release it. kind of surreal i’ve been holding on to this music for awhile… God only knows. i hope this music brings comfort to anybody who knows wat it feels like to be left behind & misunderstood. it’s anguish, it’s sorrow and it’s hope. you are not alone.
